Black Market

The Black Market is player-to-player trading — list something for sale, or buy straight from another player's listing, instant-buy at whatever price they set. There's no bidding, no house cut, and no listing fee: whatever price is set is exactly what changes hands.

What Can Be Traded

• Gold
• Points
• DP (Donator Packs)
• Weapons
• Armor

Relics, Food, and Pets can't be listed here. Relics and Food have no trading mechanic at all. Pets are handled by a completely separate system — see Weird Animal Guy below.

Listing an Item

List from your Inventory. Weapons and Armor must be unequipped and not branded (donated to an Alliance Armory) to be listed — equipped or branded gear can't go up for sale. Currency listings (Gold/Points/DP) let you set a quantity and a price per unit; Weapon/Armor listings are always one at a time.

Whatever you list is held in escrow the moment you list it — it's not just reserved, it actually leaves your inventory/balance until the listing sells or you cancel it. Cancelling returns it to you in full, no penalty. There's no expiration — a listing stays up indefinitely until it sells or you pull it.

Minimum price is $1; there's no maximum.

Buying

Instant-buy only — no bidding, no offers. Pay the full listed price in Cash, and you can't buy your own listing. A buyer has to take the whole order — there's no partial-quantity purchase on a currency listing.

The full price goes straight from buyer to seller — no tax, no fee, no house cut either direction. The seller gets a notification the moment their item sells.

Browsing

Listings are organized by category only — no search box, no price sort, no filtering by seller. Each category page lists everything for sale, newest listing first, 20 per page. A global Recent Sales feed (the last 12 sales, across every category) shows on both the Black Market home page and every category page, so you can get a sense of going rates even without a search tool.

Weird Animal Guy

A separate NPC vendor, not part of the player listing system — one random Pet species rotates in daily, first-come-first-served, bought directly from him for Cash or Gold rather than traded between players. See Pets for the full rundown.

Tips

• Since there's zero fee either way, the Black Market is a genuinely efficient way to convert one currency into another via Gold/Points/DP listings, or to offload extra gear from the Arsenal for real value instead of the flat 50% Inventory sell-back.
• Check the Recent Sales feed before listing something — it's the closest thing to a price guide since there's no search or sort.
• Remember to unequip and un-brand gear before trying to list it — both will block the listing outright.
• There's no rush to sell — listings don't expire, so you can price something high and just wait.
