Equipment
Equipment adds to your combat effectiveness on top of your trained stats. There are three kinds, managed through your Inventory:
- 🗡️ Weapons — boost your attack.
- 🛡️ Armor — boost your defense.
- 💠 Relics — boost attack/defense and speed together, bought with Points instead of cash.
Where to Buy
Right now every Weapon, Armor piece, and Relic is sold new at the Arsenal. That's expected to change as more gear gets added over time — future items won't necessarily all be Arsenal purchases, so don't assume that'll always be the one-stop shop.
There's also a second option for Weapons and Armor specifically: the Black Market, where other players list gear they don't want anymore. Prices there are whatever the seller set, not a fixed rate — sometimes cheaper than the Arsenal, sometimes not, so it's worth a look either way. Relics aren't sold on the Black Market, new or used — the Arsenal is the only source for those.
Equipping
You can have one Weapon, one Armor, and one Relic equipped at a time — swapping is instant and free through your Inventory, so there's no penalty for keeping a few options on hand for different situations.
Selling
Two ways to get rid of a piece you don't need — you'll need to unequip it first either way:
- Instant sell, from your Inventory — fastest option. Weapons & Armor pay 50% of their price back as cash; Relics pay 70% of their Points cost back as Points.
- List it on the Black Market — Weapons and Armor only (Relics can't be listed). You set your own asking price, so a well-priced listing can net more than the flat instant-sell rate — it just takes another player actually buying it, so it's not guaranteed or immediate the way the Inventory sell is.
Gear branded to your Alliance's Armory can't be sold either way — it has to stay with the Alliance.
