Intro Adventures

Intro Adventures is Masked City's onboarding chain — a sequence of short, real tasks across the city that replaced the old walkthrough tutorial. You only ever have one task open at a time, and each one pays out on completion instead of the whole thing paying off at the end.

Finding It

There's no sidebar entry for it. Its one entry point is a banner on the City page, sitting between the masthead and the district grid — it's there for as long as you have a task left to do, and disappears once you finish the chain.

New Players

The chain starts the moment your account is created — your first task is already waiting the first time you open the City page.

Existing Players

If you'd already been playing when Intro Adventures launched, the City banner offers to let you join. Doing so checks your account against every task in order and pays you immediately for anything you've already done — training at the Gym, banking cash, owning a pet, and so on — then drops you on the first task you genuinely haven't finished. Most established players clear a good chunk of the chain the moment they join.

What It Covers

The chain walks through the core loop first, then works outward:

• Earning and banking — the Streets and the Bank.
• Training and your first fights — the Gym and the Arena, see Training and Fighting.
• Gear and pets — the Arsenal and a stray from the Junkyard, see Pets.
• Exploring and real player-vs-player Combat.
• The longer-term systems as you level into them: The Wire at level 10, The Watch Tower at level 12, and the Mirage at level 15.

Rewards mix cash, gold, points, donator days, and a few items and food handed over outright — nothing here is currency you can't already earn elsewhere, just handed to you sooner for doing the thing once.

Dismissing the Reminder

While you have a task open, a small reminder follows you around the bottom of the screen naming what's next. You can dismiss it — this only hides the reminder, your progress is never affected — and bring it back any time from Settings → Preferences. The City banner itself is unaffected either way.
