Junkyard

The Junkyard is where Scraps become Cash, and where two exclusive Pets are found — one you can buy outright, one you can only get by digging.

Selling Scraps

Scraps sell for a price-per-scrap that scales with your level, from $8 each at level 1 up to a cap of $582 each at level 1,200 and beyond. Intel pushes that price higher on top: +5% per 50 Intel up to the 1,000 soft cap (a full +100% at 1,000 Intel), then half that rate (+2.5% per 50) from 1,000 up to the 2,500 hard cap. Sell any quantity you want — there's no minimum.

Pets For Sale

Two Pets are sold directly, Cash only, one per account:

  • Raccoon — $75,000
  • Iguana — $100,000

You need an open Pet Carrier slot to buy either, and you can't own two of the same species — buy your Raccoon once and that listing is done for that account.

Junkyard Jerky

The Junkyard also sells one food item, priced flat in Scraps rather than Cash — see Food for the full breakdown:

  • Junkyard Jerky — 15 Scraps, +13 Energy

Buying it goes straight into your Lunchbox, same as Bodega food, with a "fill the Lunchbox" option to grab as many as you have room and Scraps for at once.

Rummaging

Costs 5 Energy per dig, no cap on how many times you can rummage. There's a 1-in-50 chance each rummage turns up a Snapping Turtle, and this is the only way to get one; it's never sold anywhere and never found through Exploring. You still need an open Carrier slot for the roll to have a chance of hitting — if you don't, that slice of the odds falls through into the gold consolation prize below instead of being wasted.

Miss the Turtle and you've still got decent odds at a smaller consolation prize: roughly 40% of rummages turn up 100–300 Gold, another 40% turn up 1–10 Scraps, and the rest come up empty.

Tips

  • Scrap price is one of the few things that keeps scaling with your level indefinitely (up to the cap), so hoarding Scraps at a low level and selling later is genuinely worse than selling as you go if you plan to keep leveling.
  • Pushing Intel toward 1,000 pays off here directly — it's a straight cash multiplier on every Scrap you ever sell, not just a one-time perk.
  • If a Snapping Turtle is what you're after, rummaging repeatedly is the only path — there's no shortcut, just the 1-in-50 odds every time, and it only costs 5 Energy a pop so you can grind it fast.
